Lisa notices that there are no photos of Maggie in the family photo albums. This leads to a recount of Maggie’s birth. In 1993, Homer quit his job at the nuclear power plant, and satisfying a lifelong dream, he took a job at a bowling alley. When Maggie was born, Homer did not have enough money to support his family, and returned to the power plant to get his old job back.
This is why there are no picture of Maggie in the family photo albums. Sweetest episode ever.
Yeah I agree this episode is so sweet. One of my favourite episodes of The Simpsons, in fact. :)
